Our Story

At Johnny’s Sandwich Shop our roots run deep in Madison County, where Johnny grew up working in his father’s beloved sandwich shop. At just 16, he learned the art of making the perfect sandwich, using fresh ingredients straight from the garden and the same time-honored recipes that had been passed down for generations. When his father retired, Johnny took over, vowing to never change a thing. To this day, every sandwich we serve stays true to the original flavors that have made us a local favorite.
What makes Johnny’s Sandwiches special isn’t just our recipes—it’s our commitment to the community. We take pride in supporting local farmers, bakers, and artisans by sourcing everything we can from right here in town.
